Admission will be free. The program will include organ solos by Kurt Ison
and, student organist, Sheridan Levy. Trumpet and organ works by Viviani,
featuring Greg Stenning, Director of Performance and Kurt Ison, the Albinoni
Adagio, the Bach Concerto for two violins, the P.L.C. Chamber Orchestra and
the P.L.C. Chamber Choir will augment the program.

Cliff Bingham will give a 2 hour guided tour of the instruments in this exhibition

Cost: $12.00 (includes afternoon tea)

2565. The ticket includes pre-concert drinks and a substantial buffet
supper at interval.

The works to be performed are five Handel organ concertos known as
the "Second Set" of 1740 and transcribed from the Op. 6 Concerti
Grossi. Two of these, reconstructed by Ralph Schureck, are to be
accompanied by Strings, Oboes, Bassoon and Harpsichord continuo. Of
the three remaining concertos, one is for Harpsichord solo and two
for organ solo.

Soloists: Pastor de Lasala (Organ), Rosalind Halton (Harpsichord)

PS The organ is by Hill and is in a private residence.

A Book of Common Prayer Evensong (choral + sermon) will be trialed for 12 months on the third Sunday of the month at 3pm. This will be followed by an organ recital/orchestral concert at 4pm.

The first service will be held on Sunday, 21 October at 3pm
