Please note that the Sydney Town Hall will be closed during 2008 for essential service work on the building (wiring, air-conditioning, fire sprinklers and the like). The exact duration of the work, which will commencing about February 2008, will not be known until it is underway. It is anticipated that there will be no obvious changes to the appearance of the building. Organ recitals will obviously be suspended until the hall is reopen.
