St Matthew's Anglican Church
cnr Botany Road and Lord Street, Botany

Joseph Massey 1917 (2/10 mechanical and tubular-pneumatic)

From SOJ August/September 1987:

The organ in this church waa built in 1917 by Joseph Massey of Sydney using secondhand parts. Not a great deal is currently known about the work of this builder. Joseph Massey also built the organ at St David's Anglican Church, Arncliffe, again using second hand parts. (This was rebuilt in 1969 by Hill Norman & Beard with the work being carried out by Pitchford and Garside).

It would appear that no alterations have been made to the organ at Botany since its installation in 1917 and it is now in need of restoration.
