T.C. Edwards 1927 (2/14 tubular-pneumatic)

From SOJ February/March 1988

The organ in St Oswald's was built in 1927 by T.C. Edwards and is one of the few remaining organs by this builder to possess its original tubular-pneumatic action. This organ is perhaps one of the best made by Edwards and releathering and minor restoration work over the years has kept it in working order. In 1955, Hill Norman & Beard (Aust) Pty Ltd added a Fifteenth to the Great division.

The church has been closed for several years and used as a storage facility for the diocese.
