The church has been organising an annual Spring
Festival series of concerts since 1994 to raise
funds for the restoration of the church's historic
1890 Hill & Son organ. Well known early music
performers who have donated their services for the
cause in previous years include Miriam Allan,
chacona, Fontana Musica, Rosalind Halton, Anna
McDonald and The Reluctant Consort.
This year Stephen Freeman, baroque violin (on a trip
home from the Netherlands) and Linda Kent,
harpsichord will be playing a program of music by
J.S. Bach, J-M. Leclair and Jean-Joseph de
Mondonville.
The concert begins at 3.00 pm and ticket prices are
$25, $20 (conc.) & $12.50 (children). The
entry price includes complimentary pre-concert
refreshments from 2.15 pm.
