The organ in Mortdale Baptist Church was built by J. P. Eagles in 1959 with the pipe enclosure located behind a screen at the front of the church. The instrument was tonally unusual for Eagles, as the Diapason rank was available at 8' and 2' on the Great and at 4' on the Swell, with the Geigen available at 4' on the Great (where it was erroneously labelled "Gemshorn") and at 8', 2-2/3' and 2' on the Swell.

The instrument has been removed from the church, which has been the subject of significant remodelling.
