Uniting Church (formerly Congregational)

M.P. Möller, Hagerstown, Maryland, USA, 1929
2 manuals, 14 speaking stops, 8 couplers, electro-pneumatic action

From SOJ June/July 1982, December1993/January 1994:

This church has an organ built by M.P. Möller of Hagerstown, Maryland, USA. It is their Op. 5,466 and was installed in 1929. The instrument is of sound construction, the electrro-pneumatic equipment having provided more than 50 years of reliable service (SOJ June/July 1982). Although the tonal scheme appears limited on paper, the voicing and overall tone of the instrument is very fine. There is another Möller of similar design in the Chapel of the Lewisham Hospital. Apart from theatre organs, there are very few organs in Australia which have been imported from the USA.
