Easter Ramble, Monday 13th April 2009 -
This ramble will cover four organs, all of which enjoy lodgings in buildings which were not their first homes. The word “recycled” comes to mind. So come along and judge for yourself how effective the transplants have been.
There will be a charge of $10 per person for the day to defray costs. Charge will be waived for parishioners who wish to attend only the session at their own church.
Any member desiring transport is invited to contact the Secretary. Similarly, any member willing to transport any member might care to advise the Secretary.
The timetable is:
9.30 am St Alban's Anglican Church, Lindfield
Corner Tryon Road and Lindfield Avenue (to the eastern side of Lindfield railway station)

11.00 am St Martin's Anglican Church, Killara

The church hall will be open from 12.30 pm for those who would like to eat their lunch at a table. Hot water, tea and coffee will be available.

At each venue there will be a demonstration of the organ, followed by an open console session.
Ramblers wishing to try any of the organs are requested to prepare only short pieces so that other ramblers may also have the opportunity to play within the limited time available.
