Many of our historic instruments have been documented with histories, specifications and photos through the work of the Organ Historical Trust of Australia and the Organ Music Society of Sydney. They are listed under each State link below. Please click on the respective blue State name or State map.

Although not all historic, the most important organs found in our Cathedrals, main City Churches, Town Halls, Concert Halls, Universities and Conservatoria have also been included. New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory contain complete listings and several States also have a Gazetteer giving complete listings in abbreviated form.

Please go to the Organ Recital Directory for contact details to organise organ recitals in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
